On 12 March 2020, the annual talent competition among ladies studying at Gubkin University was held in the Palace of Culture «Gubkinets». The winner of the competition became the owner of the title «Miss University – Oil Queen 2020».

The 19th All-Russian Student Olympiad in Oil Chemistry

On 28 November 2020, the Department of Organic Chemistry and Petroleum Chemistry of Gubkin University will host the 19th All-Russian Student Olympiad in Oil Chemistry. The event will be held online. Students of technical universities are invited to register by 15 November 2020.
